How Vanguard Wireless wearables work:
- Worker presses the button when in duress
- The wearable transmits a Bluetooth signal to the nearest enabled smartphone, nurse call trigger, evacuation trigger, or evacuation siren
- Emergency response personnel are simultaneously notified of the alert which includes the time of the alert, the worker’s identity, and their precise geographical and vertical location
- Personnel can choose to Accept or Decline to respond, then End or Escalate to a site-wide evacuation
- All system activities are monitored in real-time through the activity feed, which is also logged for event reporting and auditing purposes.
Wearables must be purchased with a Subscription Services plan (app). They work with Vanguard Wireless' smartphone app and Vanguard Wireless' Bluetooth enabled nurse call triggers, evacuation triggers, and evacuation sirens.
