Raising an alarm

Press the button on the wearable device to raise an alarm. It needs to be a single, short press - do not press and hold the button. It will vibrate gently in response to the button being pressed.

If using the wearable device with our smartphone app, keep your smartphone within 50 metres. That range can extend up to 100 metres in optimal conditions without obstacles or interference.

If using the wearable device with our emergency alert system hardware, always stay within range of that system. Ask your site manager if unsure.

Battery level

If using the wearable device with our smartphone app, use the app to view the battery level of the device, and recharge as required.

If using the wearable device with our emergency alert system hardware, monitor the batter level of the device via the Touchscreen Control Unit or User Portal as appropriate. Ask your site manager if unsure.

Turn On/Off

To best ensure the alert button is available when needed, the device has been designed to not be switched off.

If the battery is fully discharged, the device may need to be switched on after it is recharged.

To switch the device on, press and hold the button. It will vibrate briefly and a small blue light will illuminate for 4 seconds to indicate it is powered on.
